QA: The Plan..
Spoke to my boss from my office in Sp0re. The plan my office have for me is to get me back to the region by July 1. Which means, by end of June this year, I will roll off this project. It is kind of sad to leave D0ha, since I have made few friends lately. But I am happy to leave this project :-)
If I agree to the plan, I will be in Sp0re as a "local" hire. Need to find my own accomodation, transport etc.. They also told me they will raise my salary arnd xx% so that I can live comfortably in Sp0re. Hard for me to say whether my pay is enough since I need to consider tax and cost of living. As of now, I am not paying any Sp0re tax since I do not fall into any categories defined by IR4S as tax payer.
I really hope to find something between now and end of April. That is when my boss wants my decision. Right now, I don't have much choice, really. My boss even told me that he wants to do a day or two trip from Sp0re to D0ha to talk to the country lead here about me. Wow.. I feel soooo appreciated.. kalau lah betul2 & ikhlas, just gave me what I am asking for... ini tak, comfort me by just give me arnd xx% pay increase... (not that I am not thankful, but I think I deserve more since I have been rated Exceed Expectations for my performance last year...)
Will my life be as shaky as this pix? aarrgghhhhh........

don't be a paranoid. Singapore is definitely one of the best place to work and stay in the world. Not boasting or bragging..it is 1000 times better than Doha!!!!!! But you must learn the singapore slang like kelakar seram,etc,etc...

back to SEA region?? can't they transfer you to other project around this region? like Jordan or UAE? I wish i could help you to find a better opportunity here in Doha...
If finally you have to leave Doha, we will certainly miss u. No makan-makan lah after this... :-(

Spore is a nice place, but i am a bit "paranoid" nak cari rumah, settle down etc.. especially knowing my job will be mostly client based.

yup, transfer back to SEA region unless I transfer office. Project kat region ni tak banyak and kat J0rdan is mostly aided-project (I dont really favour). Opportunity kat D0ha.. dah cuba, but nothing's up.
Makan-makan? eh.. there are lots of Msians here to organise & cook :-))
